Checking qcow2 files
Sometimes you will want to manage qcow2 files from the command line. This article describes some steps you can take. We will start by logging on to the server using SSH.
With thin provisioning it's sometimes difficult to tell how much disk space a VM disk is using.
To discover this info, start by browsing to a particular folder and run the following command:
qemu-img info vm-xxx-disk-1.qcow2
This will give the following info
file format: qcow2
virtual size: 500G
disk size: 200G
