Removing the On Hold setting 

CiviCRMYou may find that due to a mail server malfunction, you have multiple email addresses suddenly put on hold, and no obvious way to fix it. This article describe how to unhold email addresses.

Advanced Search

Start by logging on with your user account.

  1. Go to Components > CiviCRM.
  2. Go to Search > Advanced Search.
  3. Select the Email on Hold option in the Basic Criteria section.
  4. Click Search.

This will show you all email addresses that are currently on hold.


Unhold email addresses

In the search results, select any or all of the email addresses that you want to unhold.

  1. Click the Actions drop-down.
  2. Choose Email - Unhold addresses.
