There are many aspects to Drupal configuration
Trusted Host Patterns
Drupal uses a system that allows you to whitelist hostnames. On your newly installed Drupal website, browse to Manage > Reports > Status Report.
- You will typically see an error for the Trusted Host Settings.
- Using your File Manager, set write permissions for the following:
- /sites/default directory.
- Add the following line to the top of the settings.php file.
$settings['trusted_host_patterns'] = array('^.*\.yourdomain.com$',);
Note that when you next visit the Status report page, the permissions for these files are automatically reset to read-only.
It is good practice to secure your Drupal website with an SSL certificate.
Thanks for visiting.
